Job summary

Roche seeks a Technical Specialist in Engineering to join its remote support team at the Regional Customer Support Centre in Burgess Hill. Hybrid work with at least two days in the office, full-time permanent role supporting the UK, Ireland, Nordics and wider EMEA region.

You will diagnose faults, provide high-value engineering support for Molecular Diagnostics, train customers, assist sales, and help keep lab systems running smoothly with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Qualified engineer with a proven track record servicing high-value capital equipment.
• Background in Molecular Diagnostics workflows is advantageous.
• Equivalent qualification to HNC/HND level or above in Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and scientific support to customers, diagnosing faults and delivering solutions.
• Train customers and staff, support new product launches and assist the sales team.
• Offer on-site troubleshooting, ensure IT security and data governance compliance, and document issues in CRM.
