Job summary

Marqeta is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead cross‑functional technical workstreams across engineering, product, and design. You will coordinate initiatives that span platform initiatives, product portfolios, and new innovations for customers, with a focus on delivering complex projects on time and within scope.

The role can be performed remotely within the UK or from the London, Holborn office. We value curiosity, collaboration, and results‑driven execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
3+ years of technical program/project management experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and development practices.

Responsibilities

Drive technical projects from concept to completion, managing scope, schedule, and resources.
Identify dependencies, risks, and issues; develop mitigation strategies.
Facilitate communication between engineering, product, design, and business teams.
Lead technical planning, estimation, and prioritization sessions.
Document technical decisions and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
Provide regular status updates to leadership and remove obstacles for engineering teams.
Balance technical tradeoffs with business requirements and timelines.
