Job summary

Marqeta is seeking a seasoned Key Account Executive in London to scale our European business. You will own complex B2B engagements, collaborate with Product, Legal and Delivery, and shepherd opportunities from opening to contract and close.

This is a hybrid role based within 35 miles of our London office. Expect on-site two days a week (Tue and Thu) with remote work on other days, a focus on enterprise wins, and close collaboration with senior stakeholders across revenue growth, product and

Qualifications

• 10+ years in sales/strategic business development; payments/fintech backgrounds preferred.
• Deep understanding of payments ecosystem and card issuing.
• Strong fintech familiarity and B2B technology orientation.
• Financial modelling and complex deal structuring.
• Comfort representing Marqeta to C-suite executives.

Responsibilities

• Close and onboard enterprise customers; manage Salesforce rigour, financial modelling, internal approvals.
• Qualify leads and prioritise opportunities; respond to information requests and proposals.
• Run end-to-end sales process from engagement to contract negotiations; grow/renew accounts.
• Collaborate with Legal to shepherd contracting.
• Know the tech: articulate Marqeta's platform benefits to buyers and partners.
