Job summary

General Assembly is seeking a Technical Lead Learning Experience Designer for a 2–3 month remote contractor role. You will design and develop enterprise learning programs, applying AI tools and emerging technologies to create scalable, high‑quality educational experiences.

Responsibilities include owning the client-facing design process, collaborating with SMEs and instructors, and delivering practical, workplace-ready labs, simulations, and assessments aligned with GA standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in instructional design and learning experience design.
• Ability to design high-quality, outcome-driven learning materials for enterprise audiences.
• Experience managing clients, stakeholders, SMEs, and cross-functional partners.
• Hands-on fluency with AI tools to design and improve learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Lead LED for GA programs including AI and digital transformation.
• Own the complete client-facing design process from discovery through delivery.
• Partner with sales, product, and delivery to translate needs into learning solutions.
• Develop instructor-led materials: slides, labs, simulations, assessments.
• Create practical, workplace-focused activities using AI tools.
• Ensure accessibility and alignment with GA instructional standards.
