Fortis Recruitment is seeking a Technical Claims Team Lead to oversee a growing team of specialist claims handlers in a remote UK-based setup. You will take ownership of performance, coaching, and resourcing as the team scales.

The role emphasizes setting KPI standards, ensuring high-quality output, and balancing workload with capacity planning. You will monitor quality, QA, and risk across complaints, fraud, recoveries and payment controls.

Qualifications

• Lead and grow a team of claims handlers, taking full ownership of performance, coaching and people management as the team scales.
• Set the standard on KPIs and output, keeping the team performing and improving.
• Manage workload allocation and capacity planning to balance productivity with quality.
• Run quality checks across claims files and coach the team to continuously raise standards.
• Keep close oversight of the wider claims portfolio spanning areas such as complaints, quality assurance, fraud, recoveries and payment controls, flagging risk early.
