Qualifications

• Proven leadership of a claims team in insurance.
• Strong complaints handling and quality assurance.
• Experience in fraud, recoveries or payment controls is a bonus.
• Experience across multiple product lines (e.g. motor, property, travel) preferred.
• Background handling high-volume, fast-turnaround claims.
• TPA experience or cross-account exposure is a plus.
• Comfortable using data to guide decisions and spot trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of claims handlers with coaching and people management.
• Set KPIs and maintain team performance and improvement.
• Manage workload allocation and capacity planning to balance productivity with quality.
• Run quality checks across claims and raise standards.
• Oversee wider claims portfolio including complaints, QA, fraud, recoveries and payment controls.
