GitLab is hiring a Staff Forward Deployed Engineer to drive AI adoption and engineering excellence across strategic customers in an international, remote-capable role. You’ll work with Product, Engineering, SRE, SA, CSA, CSM, and Professional Services to produce durable, scalable solutions and contribute to the agentic SDLC.

Ideal candidates have staff-level experience in production software, strong Ruby on Rails or Go skills, and a track record in governance, security, and enterprise deployment

Qualifikationen

• Experience building production software at staff level.
• Strong coding in Ruby on Rails or Go and SQL databases.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and governance.
• Ability to work with strategic customers and teams.

• Contribute production-quality code to GitLab’s product and adjacent systems.
• Develop fixes, features, integrations, tooling, and performance improvements for strategic outcomes.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering to ensure long-term product direction.
• Turn field blockers into durable product improvements and reusable patterns.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive adoption and governance.
