Job summary

GitLab is seeking a Senior Professional Services Engineer to lead installation, migration, and advisory engagements for customers worldwide. You will architect reference deployments using IaC/Config as Code, drive migrations to GitLab SaaS or self-managed solutions, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to improve delivery and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience with IaC/Config as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Packer, Puppet, Chef or Kubernetes.
• Ability to work with one or more major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience delivering customer-facing services including installation, migration, training, and advisory engagements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver GitLab Professional Services engagements including installation, migration, training, and advisory services across GitLab capabilities.
• Plan and execute deployments from single-node Omnibus installations to large reference architectures using Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code practices.
• Lead migrations to GitLab SaaS or self-managed GitLab, guiding customers to secure, reliable workflows.
• Partner with Engagement and Project Managers to improve delivery consistency and reduce friction.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor translating goals into practical implementation plans.
