Qualifications

• Proven track record of technical leadership across multiple teams or a broad product area.
• Deep backend architecture experience in complex applications or platforms.
• Experience modernizing monoliths toward modular, reusable components.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical design and delivery of large backend initiatives that span teams.
• Drive modular backend, service, data, and platform architecture and modernization.
• Define standards for APIs, testing, security, performance, and production readiness.
• Create patterns for dependency management, data ownership, and eventing.
• Own production systems including on-call and incident response.
• Mentor engineers and drive reusable patterns and debt reduction.
• Lead AI adoption and ensure guardrails for safe production use.
