Job summary

Algolia is seeking experienced Solutions Engineers to join a hyper-growth team that collaborates with Sales to demonstrate product value and drive technical success for customers. You will own the technical pre-sales relationship, build prototypes using Algolia APIs, and translate complex tech concepts into business outcomes for CTOs and engineers alike.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Italian and English.
• 3+ years experience in a customer-facing technical role in SaaS.
• Front End: JavaScript, TypeScript, React.
• Back End: Java, Ruby, Go, Node, Python, Swift/Objective-C.
• Experience with data formats and data transformation.
• Great oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills with multiple customers and fast context-switching.
• Experience at high-growth SaaS stage (ARR $150–300M+).

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales Teams and prospects on their evaluation and adoption of Algolia solutions.
• Understand and qualify customer goals with KPIs and articulate Algolia’s ability to meet them.
• Assist in the Sales process including discovery, demo, POC, RFP responses & business justification.
• Develop custom search applications leveraging the tools, frameworks, and partners of the Algolia ecosystem.
• Distill and advocate customer interests, needs and product feedback to Product and Engineering teams.
• Continuously learn and update skills and contribute to thought leadership to make Algolia more accessible.
• Work with Solution Architects and Customer Success teams on seamless transition to post-sales onboarding.
