Job summary

Allica Bank is expanding its Cash Management team to bring market-leading SME banking products to established businesses. This role focuses on remote sales by phone, identifying opportunities, and converting prospects into live accounts with excellent service throughout onboarding.

You will work cross-functionally with Relationship Managers, Operations, KYC/B and underwriters to deliver value while maintaining strong risk controls. A proven track record in SME banking and sales is required.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in telephone-based lead generation with established SMEs (5–250 employees).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with evidence of outperformance in similar roles.
• Experience in fast-paced environments with adaptability to change.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Relationship Managers, Operations, KYC/B and underwriters.
• Proven track record of exceeding targets, generating new income opportunities while considering risk and reputation.
• Strong understanding of SME financial products (payments, lending, accounting, CRM) and business current accounts.

Responsibilities

• Clearly communicate Allica’s value proposition to decision makers (Owner/Director/FD).
• Generate high quality business current account and savings opportunities from prospect lists.
• Support customers through onboarding to open and actively use accounts, delivering great customer experience.
• Represent Allica professionally as the first point of contact with SMEs.
• Learn products and criteria to identify opportunities and convert prospects into active customers.
• Feedback customer insights to Product, Marketing and Data teams to drive better outcomes.
