Job summary

Experis is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join the Legal Aid Agency’s DBA team. The role focuses on modernising digital services, supporting Oracle databases in AWS, and guiding junior DBAs under the Principal DBA.

You will help advance DevOps practices and automation, ensuring stability, security, and rapid change capability. Remote role with occasional travel; competitive umbrella rate up to £598/day for 1 year 5 months.

Qualifications

Expert experience with AWS cloud and core AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3).
Expert experience setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
Expert experience upgrading/migrating PL/SQL based applications.
Experience with Oracle DB versions 10g/11g/12c on Unix/Linux.
Expert experience of Oracle SQL tuning (execution plans, indexes, hints).
Experience with ER/DB schema design in a legacy ERP context.
Experience installing, patching, upgrading Oracle environments.
Experience RMAN/OEM administration.
Expert experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12.
