Job summary

HelloKindred, a staffing partner for marketing, creative and technology, seeks a Principal Oracle DBA to join the DBA team supporting the Legal Aid Agency. The role emphasises automation, monitoring and DevOps to modernise database operations.

Qualifications

• Expert experience with AWS Cloud services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3).
• Expert in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• Expert in upgrading and migrating PL/SQL-based apps.

Responsibilities

• Lead Oracle database administration and modernisation within a multidisciplinary DBA team.
• Guide and support Senior DBAs across database administration, troubleshooting, and operational activities.
• Drive DevOps adoption across DBA operations and automate tasks via scripting and IaC.
• Establish and maintain CD/Deployment pipelines and perform Oracle DB installations, patching, upgrades.
• Administer Oracle databases across Unix/Linux and perform SQL tuning with execution plans.
