Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Manager, Application Security to lead a new, AI-enabled security function in a fully remote technology environment in the United Kingdom.

You will combine hands-on application security expertise with people management, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration to establish security standards, vulnerability management, and secure development practices across engineering teams.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of security experience with hands-on application security.
• Proven ability to mature an application security program with threat modeling and vulnerability management.
• Strong knowledge of secure software design and OWASP principles.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the application security roadmap including vulnerability management and remediation.
• Conduct hands-on security reviews and triage vulnerabilities with engineering teams.
• Embed secure development practices across the SDLC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design an AI-first application security strategy and validate AI-assisted tooling.
• Lead cross-functional security initiatives with IT, compliance, and engineering.
• Oversee third-party and vendor security assessments and risk reviews.
• Report security posture and progress to senior leadership and external stakeholders.
