PSC is expanding its HVDC capabilities in the UK and internationally, seeking a Senior HVDC Converter Engineer with hands-on experience in converter stations and VSC technology. You will work with industry-leading consultants to deliver major offshore wind and grid projects.

This role offers a broad technical and advisory remit, from technology selection and design reviews to commissioning and client-facing delivery, with opportunities to grow expertise within PSC's global network.

Formación

3–5 years of direct HVDC converter experience.
Experience with voltage source converter (VSC) technology and HVDC converter systems.
Experience supporting design, commissioning or consultancy activities for HVDC projects.
Strong ability to communicate with clients, OEMs and project stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

Support development and delivery of HVDC transmission projects.
Provide technical input into HVDC technology selection and converter station design.
Review OEM designs and converter station equipment specifications.
Assist with factory acceptance testing, site inspections and commissioning activities.
Prepare high-quality technical reports and consultancy deliverables.
Engage directly with clients, OEMs and project stakeholders to deliver expert advice.
Support business development activities, proposals and tender submissions.
