Job summary

Balluff EMEA is seeking a Virtual Sales Account Manager based in Northwich to develop remote customer relationships and drive virtual sales across a network of clients. You will use information on products, competitors, and customer needs to shape campaigns and opportunities, with a proactive hunter mentality and a focus on digital channels.

The role requires a STEM degree or Electrical Engineering background, strong negotiation and account management experience, and comfort with MS-Office, SAP

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or STEM or comparable qualification.
• Strong customer service orientation with active listening to target customer needs.
• Excellent negotiation skills with experience in account management.
• Proactive, self-motivated and empathetic hunter mentality.
• High affinity for virtual, phone and digital channels; social selling experience.
• Basic technical knowledge in electronics.
• Proficiency with MS-Office, SAP Basic, C4C and communication tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with assigned customers remotely.
• Collect and use information on products, competitors and customer requirements to drive remote/virtual sales.
• Identify customer needs and stimulate interest/demands.
• Leverage cross-selling opportunities; drive campaigns and sales pushes.
• Search, identify and follow up Opportunities at the customer; grow potential.
• Use and track qualified leads from Marketing Automation for campaigns and new customers.
• Provide Technical-Commercial consulting for catalog and standard products.
• Position Balluff as the preferred supplier for the customer.
