Job summary

Teambuilder Recruitment Limited is seeking a Sales Engineer / Technical Account Manager with a strong electrical/electronic background to manage and develop key customer accounts from a home-based setup.

You will build long-term relationships, understand technical requirements, and identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, spare parts and service while collaborating with engineering, service and production teams to deliver solutions.

Qualifications

• Electrical/electronic engineering qualification or strong technical experience.
• Experience in technical sales, sales engineering or account management.
• Good understanding of electrical/electronic systems.
• Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
• Customer-focused and commercially aware.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willing to travel within the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop key customer accounts.
• Provide technical advice and solutions using your electrical/electronic knowledge.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Manage enquiries, quotations and orders.
• Conduct customer visits, technical meetings and presentations.
• Work with engineering, service and production teams to deliver customer solutions.
• Maintain CRM and sales pipeline information.
• Represent the company at customer sites and industry events.
