Job summary

WR Logistics is seeking a commercially driven Road Freight Business Development Manager to grow our international road freight portfolio. This remote role offers autonomy to develop your own client base and the potential for substantial earnings through commission.

Salary up to £70,000 plus commission and a company car or car allowance, with fully remote working and the backing of a global logistics network to win major accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience in business development within road freight or European road transport.
• Proven ability to win new customers and generate revenue.
• Established network of contacts for long-term relationships.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work remotely and self-motivate.

Responsibilities

• Identify, develop and secure new business opportunities within the road freight market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective customers and key decision-makers.
• Generate new revenue through proactive sales activity, networking and strategic business development.
• Identify opportunities across domestic and international road freight services.
• Develop tailored transport solutions to meet customer requirements.
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and negotiation through to closing new business.
• Work closely with internal operations and commercial teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Achieve agreed sales targets, revenue objectives and business growth plans.
