Job summary

Think Legal Recruitment is seeking an experienced Remote Real Estate Lawyer – Associate (3+ PQE) for a leading international law firm in Leeds. The role is permanent and flexible, allowing you to work primarily from home with Leeds office visits twice a month or opt for office-based work if preferred.

You’ll be the dedicated legal resource for a major client, handling leases, due diligence, and lease management, while supervising junior lawyers.

Qualifications

3+ years of PQE advising on transactional real estate in England and Wales.
Commitment to excellent client service with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Proactive, commercial approach to spotting risks and opportunities.
Ideally experience for institutional landlords.
Ideally experience handling high-volume, fast-paced work in a client-facing team with processes and legal tech tools.

Responsibilities

Act as the go-to legal contact for a key client, within a structured delivery model.
Manage your own caseload: drafting and negotiating leases and related property documents.
Oversee transactions through to completion and keep matter records up to date (WIP, billing, write-offs).
Supervise and support junior lawyers and paralegals across lettings and property management matters.
Build strong relationships with the client and external advisers; participate in client engagement activities.
Share best practice with the wider client account team and drive process improvements.
