Job summary

Michael Page Legal in Leeds is seeking a Real Estate Senior Associate to manage a varied caseload of commercial property work for major developers, investors and retailers. The role involves development, investment and corporate occupier matters with close collaboration to Partners and colleagues across the firm.

You will mentor junior lawyers, help generate new business and lead transaction work from instruction to completion, while enjoying hybrid working arrangements in a top regional

Qualifications

• Solicitor with around 6 years PQE or more in commercial real estate.
• Experienced across a broad range of commercial property matters.
• Strong technically with a commercially focused approach.
• Experience in development, investment and corporate occupier work.
• Confident in developing and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Advise major developers, investors and retailers on commercial property matters.
• Handle a broad range of development, investment and corporate occupier work.
• Manage transactions from initial instruction through to completion.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Real Estate Senior Associate to join a highly rated commercial law firm in Leeds, handling a varied caseload of high quality commercial property work. You will advise major developers, investors and retailers across development, investment and corporate occupier matters, while playing an active role in mentoring and business development.

The Real Estate Senior Associate will be:

• Advising major developers, investors and retailers on commercial property matters
• Handling a broad range of development, investment and corporate occupier work
• Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients
• Working closely with Partners and colleagues across the wider firm
• Taking an active role in business development and identifying opportunities for growth
• Supporting the development and mentoring of junior lawyers

Profile

The Real Estate Senior Associate should be:

• A solicitor with around 6 years PQE or more in commercial real estate
• Experienced across a broad range of commercial property matters
• Strong technically with a commercially focused approach
• Experienced in development, investment and corporate occupier work
• Comfortable advising sophisticated clients and managing matters with a high degree of autonomy
• Confident in developing and maintaining client relationships
• Interested in contributing to business development and team growth
• Experienced in supporting, supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
• A strong communicator who works collaboratively and takes ownership of their work

Job Offer
