Job summary

Yorkshire law firm in Leeds seeks a Real Estate Senior Associate to lead a varied caseload of high-quality commercial property work for developers, investors and retailers. You will own matters end-to-end while mentoring junior lawyers and driving business development.

The role offers hybrid working arrangements, with a salary in the £80,000–£90,000 range and a performance-based bonus along with a pension, private medical insurance, a car scheme and life assurance.

Qualifications

• Solicitor with around 6 years PQE or more in commercial real estate.
• Strong technical skills with a commercially focused approach.
• Experience across development, investment and corporate occupier work.
• Able to advise sophisticated clients and manage matters with autonomy.
• Confident in developing and maintaining client relationships.
• Interested in contributing to business development and team growth.
• Experience in supporting, supervising or mentoring junior lawyers.
• Strong communication and collaborative work style.

Description

The Real Estate Senior Associate will be:

• Advising major developers, investors and retailers on commercial property matters
• Handling a broad range of development, investment and corporate occupier work
• Managing transactions from initial instruction through to completion
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients
• Working closely with Partners and colleagues across the wider firm
• Taking an active role in business development and identifying opportunities for growth
• Supporting the development and mentoring of junior lawyers

Profile

The Real Estate Senior Associate should be:
