Job summary

Addleshaw Goddard LLP in Leeds is seeking Associates for our Transactional Real Estate team to deliver asset management and investment work for key clients within a structured delivery model.

You will act as a dedicated resource for a major client, manage your own caseload including leases and related documents, supervise juniors, and build strong client relationships while benefiting from training and career development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' PQE advising on transactional real estate matters in England and Wales.
• Experience with institutional landlords preferred.
• Strong client service, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience managing high-volume, fast-paced workloads in a client-facing role.
• Proactive in identifying risks and commercial solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a dedicated legal resource for a key client within a structured delivery model.
• Manage your own caseload, drafting and negotiating leases, ancillary property documents, tenant due diligence enquiries, and lease management applications.
• Oversee transaction completion processes, maintain matter status updates, and manage WIP, billing, and write-offs.
• Supervise and support junior lawyers and paralegals, ensuring delivery of high-quality work across lettings and property management matters.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and external advisers, acting as a key point of contact and participating in client engagement activities.
• Collaborate with the wider client account team to share best practice, drive process improvements, maintain consistency of approach, and support wider real estate transactions as required.
