Job summary

John Sisk & Son is seeking a Project Manager/Senior Agent to lead technically challenging projects up to £30m, or a section of a larger project. You will coordinate Preconstruction, Design Procurement and Build, ensuring client expectations are met while maintaining profits with support from the QS.

You will implement the Project Execution Plan, uphold HSEQS standards and drive value for the client through proactive leadership and robust risk management.

Qualifications

• Academic and/or professional qualification in construction.
• Chartered status is preferred.
• CSCS for Managers, SMSTS, CDM/PSCS required/beneficial.
• Experience with Design and Build JCT and NEC3 contracts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the programme, method statements and submission.
• Produce the contract programme (with Estimating during bid stage).
• Ensure the Health, Safety & Environmental plan reflects the scope and programme.
• Instruct the QS to agree major expenditure, including plant and accommodation.
• Chair start-up and production meetings with the Regional Director.
• Lead all aspects of Project Team functions (PEP, Risk & Commercial, Financials, HSEQS, Stakeholder mgmt).
• Manage consultant and subcontract design, including BIM strategy delivery.
• Compile and implement the Project Execution Plan.
