Job summary

John Sisk & Son in London, Westminster, is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead project commercial delivery. You’ll manage cost, value, contract terms, financial reporting, risk, and dispute resolution, while guiding the project team and stakeholder relations.

You will develop staff capability, oversee cost plans and cashflow, and ensure governance and compliant practices across large-scale projects in a family-owned contractor with global reach.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant field (QS/CM/Law/Business or related).
• Training in bonds, warranties and insurances.
• Training in dispute resolution and contract management.
• Training in financial management and cost control.
• Leadership training in managing and developing teams.
• Training in communication, influencing and negotiation.
• Valid CSCS card.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management for projects, ensuring systems and procedures are in place and followed.
• Oversee financial reporting and cashflow forecasting for projects.
• Identify and negotiate acceptable terms with clients and stakeholders.
• Manage change processes and assess entitlements.
• Lead risk and opportunity management with operations, implementing mitigations.
• Provide commercial support and training to site staff.
• Supervise cost plans for complex projects and analyze cost reports.
• Ensure commercial teams align with company values and safety standards.
