Job summary

Renew Consultancy is seeking a Project Sales Manager (Critical Power) to build a new sales function and drive growth across the UK. You’ll own enquiries from first contact to order, and hand projects to the in-house delivery team.

You will sell generator sets from £50,000 to around £2m, plus in-house control packages, while developing relationships with M&E contractors, consultants, authorities, healthcare, industrial, pharma, retail and data centres.

Qualifications

• Project or turnkey sales experience in generators, gas engines and CHP, UPS, battery, controls or acoustics
• A hunter’s drive with a proven conversion record
• Sufficient electrical knowledge for credible talks with consultants and M&E contractors
• Comfort managing own diary and regular travel
• Industry or technical grounding welcomed if early in career

Responsibilities

• Own enquiries from first conversation to quote to order, then hand over to delivery team
• Prepare quotations with MD and line manager for complex jobs
• Build relationships with M&E contractors, consultants, authorities and healthcare sites
• Travel across the South of England and Midlands, visiting head office in Essex about once a month
• This is new business only with no inherited accounts and no internal estimating team
