Renew Consultancy is seeking a Project Sales Manager (Critical Power) to own the full sales cycle from enquiry to order for generator projects. You will target M&E contractors, consultants, and public-sector and industrial clients, and manage complex quotes with senior support.

This is a home-based role covering the South of England and Midlands with regular head-office visits in Essex. You’ll drive growth in an employee-owned, specialist standby power business, reporting to the Director and

Qualifications

• Project or turnkey sales experience in generators, gas engines and CHP, UPS, battery, controls or acoustics.
• A hunter’s drive with a proven conversion record.
• Sufficient electrical knowledge for credible discussions with consultants and M&E contractors.
• Ability to manage own diary and travel regularly.
• Industry or technical grounding considered if earlier in your sales career.

Responsabilités

• Own enquiries from first conversation to quote and order, then hand to delivery team.
• Sell single generator sets to multi-set projects from £50,000 to ~£2m, plus in-house control packages.
• Build relationships with M&E contractors, consultants, authorities, healthcare, industry, pharma, retail, and data centres.
• Prepare quotations with MD/line manager on complex bids.
• Work from home across the South of England and Midlands; visit head office in Essex about once a month.
