Job summary

Apogee Corporation is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to join our team. You will deliver exceptional service support to our diverse client base, performing on-site visits, fault diagnosis, repairs and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment uptime and customer satisfaction.

The role involves installing equipment, providing customer training, and maintaining spare parts inventory. A Monday–Friday, 08:30–17:30 pattern with some office attendance is expected.

Qualifications

• Essential: experience as an engineer on MFD printers.
• IT knowledge to network devices and set up scanning functions.
• Ability to provide first-class customer service with prior customer-facing experience.
• Experience in a target-driven environment.
• Smart and presentable at all times.
• Willing to undertake training on new product lines (e.g., laptops/ PCs).

Responsibilities

• Conduct service visits to address reported calls and maintain high standards of professional service support.
• Respond to customer service requests for repair of business equipment.
• Diagnose faults and implement repairs via adjustments, cleaning or parts replacement.
• Perform preventative maintenance per manufacturer guidelines and service recommendations.
• Provide detailed reports on work completed and confirm equipment condition post-service.
• Install equipment sold by the company and ensure optimal performance.
• Provide training to customers to maximise equipment efficiency.
• Manage inventory of spare parts and consumables.
