Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor to utilise your UK clinical background in a non‑clinical, structured role. It focuses on clinical reasoning, analysis and detailed report writing rather than hands‑on care.

After training, the role becomes fully remote with stable hours and ongoing clinical support, allowing you to continue applying your experience in a meaningful way.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC-regulated professional.
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Ability to produce clear, evidence-based reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone and video PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Review clinical records and medical evidence.
• Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Work independently while collaborating with colleagues across clinical and administrative teams.
• Participate in ongoing learning and development activities.
