Job summary

Medacs Healthcare Limited is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor (Nurse, Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist) for a permanent, full-time role. After initial training, the position is fully remote, with travel to Leeds for the first day of induction (travel/accommodation provided).

You will perform telephone and video assessments, review medical evidence, and craft clear, evidence-based reports within defined clinical frameworks.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD) or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone and video PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner
• Review clinical records and medical evidence
• Produce clear, accurate and evidence-based written reports
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks
• Work independently while collaborating with colleagues across clinical and administrative teams
• Participate in ongoing learning and development activities
