Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor. This hybrid role combines home working with time at our assessment centres, focusing on clinical reasoning, analysis and detailed reporting.

Open to NMC/HCPC registered nurses, physiotherapists, paramedics or occupational therapists with at least 1 year of UK clinical experience. Excellent written/verbal communication and comfort with digital systems are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven written and verbal communication skills.
• Typing speed of 35 WPM or faster.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face and telephone PIP assessments with professionalism.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Engage with feedback and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
• Attend assessment centres as required.
