Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor for a remote, permanent role in the United Kingdom. If you are an NMC or HCPC registered clinician (Physiotherapist, Nurse, Paramedic or OT), you will assess how health conditions affect daily activities, focusing on reports and evidence reviews rather than hands-on treatment.

The role offers a £42,000 base salary with performance incentives and annual salary reviews, remote working, structured hours, 25 days leave plus

Qualifications

• Registered clinician (NMC or HCPC) with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with digital systems and 35 WPM typing.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles.
• Able to produce high‑quality written clinical reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone PIP assessments professionally and empathetically.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed, evidence‑based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
