Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a Functional Assessor (Registered Physiotherapist) for a remote, permanent role in the UK. You will conduct telephone PIP assessments, review medical evidence, and produce high-quality written reports within clinical frameworks.

The role requires active NMC/HCPC registration, a minimum of 1 year UK clinical experience, and strong report-writing skills. Right to work in the UK applies; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist.
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed).

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
