Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a Functional Assessor (Registered Physiotherapist) to work remotely as a PIP Functional/Disability Assessor. The role focuses on clinical judgment, evidence review and detailed reports rather than hands-on care, with structured pay progression and bonus potential.

You will conduct telephone assessments, analyse evidence, and produce high-quality written reports within established clinical frameworks.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports
