Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a remote PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor (Registered Occupational Therapist). You will evaluate how a person’s health conditions affect daily activities, focusing on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than hands-on care.

The role offers remote working, a competitive salary of £42,000 with performance incentives and annual reviews, structured hours and clear progression plus CPD support.

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information
• Produce accurate, detailed and evidence‑based written reports
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks
• Engage positively with feedback and development opportunities
