Medacs Healthcare is recruiting a Functional Assessor (Registered Physiotherapist) for a remote, permanent role. You will apply clinical judgement to assess how health conditions affect daily activities, focusing on evidence review and written justification rather than hands-on care.

The position offers a competitive £42,000 salary with performance-based incentives, structured pay progression, and ongoing clinical support.

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed).
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles.
• Ability to produce high-quality written clinical reports.

If you're an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist considering a move away from hands‑on clinical care, this role offers a structured alternative where your clinical judgement remains central.

Working as a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll evaluate how a person's health conditions impact their daily activities. This position focuses on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than treatment delivery.
