Prince Personnel Limited is recruiting a Payroll Specialist for a temporary assignment in Telford with remote working available. The role runs 2 months and may extend to 6 months, with a salary of £30,000–£35,000. Hours are 9am–5:30pm Monday to Friday, 30 minutes lunch.

Qualifications

• Experience with setting up new payroll functions and onboarding employees.
• Strong payroll administration skills and data accuracy.
• Immediate availability for a project-based assignment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Leading the setup and implementation of a new payroll ahead of go-live.
• Onboarding employees acquired through a business acquisition onto the payroll system.
• Ensuring payroll records are accurate, compliant and correctly configured.
• Liaising with internal stakeholders to gather and validate payroll information.
• Processing payroll-related data and resolving discrepancies during implementation.
• Supporting payroll testing and transition to the new payroll structure.
• Providing expert payroll guidance throughout the project.
• Maintaining confidentiality and accuracy with sensitive employee information.
