Job summary

Randstad Financial & Professional is seeking a Payroll Specialist (UK Payroll) for a 6-month temporary contract. The role is largely remote with occasional office visits and entails ownership of the monthly UK payroll for multiple sites and remote locations.

You will act as the UK subject matter expert, managing data gathering, validating inputs with an outsourced payroll provider, and collaborating with UK HR and Finance stakeholders to ensure a smooth employee experience.

Qualifications

• Proven UK payroll experience across multi-site environments.
• Strong understanding of PAYE, NICs, RTI and HMRC processes.
• Experience with outsourced payroll providers is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly UK payroll for all employees with accurate data collection.
• Validate inputs/outputs and liaise with outsourced provider.
• Ensure RTI submissions and statutory payments are compliant.
• Support pensions and year-end reporting and respond to queries.
