Portfolio Payroll Limited is seeking an experienced Payroll & Finance professional to join our Cheshire-based payroll team. You will manage end-to-end payroll for a portfolio of clients in the public sector and take responsibility for year-end activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The role offers fully remote work with a monthly Cheshire office visit, 37 hours per week, and benefits including a 16% pension, study support, and annual pay awards to recognise performance.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering end-to-end payroll, including year-end activities.
• Excellent communication skills and client focus.
• Experience with local authority payroll is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end payroll processing - Monthly.
• Support finance functions alongside payroll and purchase ledger.
• Handle year-end processes including P11D and HMRC submissions.
• Assist with invoices and client servicing.
• Process LGPS pensions and TPS.
• Provide first-class customer service to clients.
