Job summary

Attivo is seeking a capable Paraplanner to join our team in the UK. You will provide comprehensive administrative and technical support, producing suitability reports and handling applications in line with FCA standards.

You will develop your product, technical and regulatory knowledge while supporting Financial Planners. This fixed-term 12-month contract offers a pathway to Chartered status and opportunities across multiple offices including Liverpool.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a Paraplanner.
• Strong knowledge of pensions and investments.
• Solid understanding of compliance processes and issues.
• Excellent interpersonal, listening, numerical and IT skills.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent report writing and written/verbal communication skills.
• Good organisational, time management and caseload management skills.
• Experience in financial services with an Independent Financial Adviser.
• Ability to work on own initiative and discreetly.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client financial position and make recommendations aligned with guidance.
• Prepare a full suitability report and evidence client objectives.
• Ensure client data in CRM is complete and up-to-date.
• Research and gather data for new plans as appropriate.
• Maintain unambiguous, accurate CRM records in a timely fashion.
• Submit completed applications with all required documentation.
