Job summary

Attivo are Lifestyle Financial Planners. The Paraplanner will provide comprehensive administrative and technical assistance, preparing client meeting documentation, suitability reports, and application forms with accuracy and compliance.

You will research suitable financial solutions, draft suitability letters, and ensure all regulatory procedures are followed. This is a fixed-term 12‑month contract with offices nationwide including Cheltenham, Cardiff, Fareham, Newbury, London, Liverpool,

Qualifications

• Paraplanner role requiring at least two years' experience.
• Experience with pensions and investments essential.
• Ability to draft suitability reports and letters.
• Strong compliance and regulatory knowledge.
• Excellent report writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage caseload.

Responsibilities

• Analyse client financial position and recommend aligned with adviser plan.
• Complete suitability reports using tools to evidence client objectives.
• Ensure data accuracy and up-to-date CRM records.
• Research and compare new plans to fit client needs.
• Submit applications with required documentation.
• Take ownership and monitor progression to provider service standards.
• Coordinate with clients and keep the Financial Planner informed.
• Ensure regulatory obligations are discharged.
• Assist in responding to complaints when necessary.
• Prepare for full file checks and remedial actions.
• Maintain CPD records and develop pensions/investments knowledge.
• Study professional qualifications toward chartered status.
• Undertake ad-hoc projects as needed.
