Job summary

Attivo is seeking a Paraplanner to provide comprehensive administrative and technical support for our financial planning team. You will prepare client meeting documents, suitability reports, and applications, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

You will research suitable solutions, draft suitability letters, and stay current with financial regulations. The role is a 12-month fixed-term contract with offices across the UK and flexible working options.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning with the CII.
• At least 2 years’ experience working as a Paraplanner.
• Comprehensive knowledge of pensions and investments.
• Good understanding of compliance processes and issues.
• Excellent report writing and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Good organisational, time management, and caseload management skills.
• Experience in the financial services industry, working for an Independent Financial Adviser.
• Ability to work on own initiative, sometimes for long time periods.
• Professional, ethical and discreet.
• Ability to build and maintain ongoing client relationships.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the client’s current financial position and priorities to make recommendations.
• Complete a suitability report for the Financial Planner with Paraplanner tools.
• Ensure CRM data is complete, accurate and up to date.
• Research new plans and evidence client objectives.
• Maintain documentation and record-keeping to ensure compliance.
• Submit new business applications with all required supporting information.
• Monitor case progress and ensure timely submission to providers.
