Job summary

Reed is seeking a motivated Paraplanner to support advisers with high-quality technical work. This full-time role is remote with occasional visits to a local office, offering flexible arrangements and exposure to a busy financial planning environment.

You will conduct product, provider and fund research, prepare cashflow modelling and draft suitability reports using client data, while ensuring FCA compliance and accurate documentation. Training and CPD support are provided.

Qualifications

  • Level 4 Qualified (CII or equivalent)
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in financial services
  • Strong computer literacy and understanding of back-office systems
  • Proven ability to work remotely and collaboratively
  • Excellent communication, accuracy and attention to detail

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-standard administrative and paraplanning support to advisers
  • Ensure all work complies with FCA regulations and internal procedures
  • Log and manage paraplanning requests efficiently
  • Assist with new business processing across protection, investments, pensions and more
  • Conduct product, provider and fund research
  • Produce illustrations, quotes and supporting documentation
  • Prepare cashflow modelling forecasts
  • Draft suitability reports using full and accurate client data
  • Liaise with advisers to finalise and amend reports
  • Maintain thorough, compliant client records across internal systems
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives
  • Carry out CPD to meet regulatory and professional standards

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DOE)
Location: Remote with Ad-Hoc visits to a local office

We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-driven Paraplanner to support our growing team and provide high-quality technical support to advisers.

Essential:

Desirable:
  • Working toward Level 6
