Job summary

Recruit Wealth is recruiting a Paraplanner in Cambridge to join a high-performing financial planning team. You will support Financial Planners by producing high quality reports and conducting in-depth product research for personalised client solutions.

You will act as a technical contact for queries, assist with client reviews and ensure records, applications and compliance are meticulously handled. The role offers hybrid/flexible working and clear progression.

Qualifications

• Paraplanner with experience in financial advice is preferred.
• Diploma qualification and willingness to study further.
• Proficient with Intelligent Office or similar CRM/colleague systems.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Produce high quality suitability reports.
• Conduct detailed research on financial products and strategies.
• Support Financial Planners with client reviews and ongoing planning needs.
• Act as technical support contact for planners and clients.
• Submit applications to providers and manage documentation; maintain compliant client records.
• Ensure all work aligns with FCA and internal compliance standards.

You will work closely with experienced Financial Planners, helping deliver high quality, personalised financial planning solutions for clients.

The Role:

As a Paraplanner, you will play an integral role in supporting the Financial Planners and ensuring clients receive the highest standard of advice and service.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Producing high quality suitability reports
• Conducting detailed research on financial products, providers and strategies
• Supporting Financial Planners with client reviews and ongoing planning needs
• Acting as a technical support contact for the financial planner and client queries
• Submitting applications to providers and managing documentationMaintaining accurate, compliant and well-presented client records
• Ensuring all work is completed in line with FCA and internal compliance standards

About You

You will be a technically strong paraplanner who enjoys being part of a collaborative and professional financial planning team.

Ideally you will have:

• Previous paraplanning experience with financial advice
• Ideally Diploma qualified and willing to study further
• Experience with Intelligent Office, highly desirable
• Strong analytical and research skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• The confidence to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
• Strong IT skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
