Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor (Registered Paramedic) for a remote, permanent position. The role focuses on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than hands-on care, with a starting salary of £42,000 plus incentive opportunities.

You will conduct telephone assessments, analyse medical evidence, and produce detailed reports within defined clinical frameworks.

Qualifications

• NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Confident using digital systems; typing 35 WPM.
• Right to work in the UK; sponsorship not available.
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct telephone PIP assessments in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Analyse medical evidence and clinical information.
• Produce accurate, detailed, evidence-based written reports.
• Work to defined quality standards and clinical frameworks.
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative colleagues.
