Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor for remote, permanent work. You will evaluate how health conditions affect daily activities through written reports and evidence review, focusing on assessment rather than hands-on care.

Ideal candidates are NMC/HCPC registered professionals with UK clinical experience, strong report-writing skills and comfort using digital systems. Excellent communication is essential; sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)

Working as a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll evaluate how a person's health conditions impact their daily activities. This position focuses on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than treatment delivery.
