Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is hiring a PIP Functional Assessor / Disability Assessor for remote work in the UK. If you're an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, this role lets you apply clinical judgement without hands‑on care, focusing on assessments, evidence review and written reports.

The position offers a competitive salary (£42,000) with performance incentives, structured pay progression and full remote support, with no evenings, weekends or bank holidays.

Qualifications

• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience.
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available).
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles.
• Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports.

Working as a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll evaluate how a person's health conditions impact their daily activities. This position focuses on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than treatment delivery.

What you'll do

What we're looking for

• Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, RNLD), Physiotherapist, Paramedic or Occupational Therapist
• Active NMC or HCPC registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year's UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports
