Job summary

Medacs Healthcare is seeking a PIP Functional Assessor for remote work in the UK. If you are an NMC‑registered Nurse or HCPC‑registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist, this permanent role lets you apply clinical judgement in assessments and written reports rather than hands-on care.

You will conduct telephone assessments, review medical evidence, and produce evidence‑based reports to defined standards.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (NMC) or HCPC‑registered professional (Paramedic/Physiotherapist/OT)
• Active registration with no restrictions
• Minimum 1 year UK clinical experience
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Confident use of digital systems and typing (35 WPM)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
• Experience in functional assessment or advisory roles
• Ability to produce high‑quality written clinical reports

Working as a PIP Functional Assessor, you'll evaluate how a person's health conditions impact their daily activities. This position focuses on professional assessment, evidence review and written clinical justification rather than treatment delivery.

• Confident use of digital systems (35 WPM typing speed)
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)

• Confidence in producing high‑quality written clinical reports
