Job summary

RHL is seeking an experienced Trainer to develop, deliver, and assess learning and development activities across UK client sites, mainly in Scotland. You will work with the Competency Assurance Manager to implement the competency management system and enhance training programs.

The role requires in-depth knowledge of training and assessment within Major Accident Hazard industries, plus degree-level education in Training & Development and a Level 4 qualification in an Operational/Engineering

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in Training & Development with a Level 4 qualification in an Operational/Engineering discipline.
• Experience as Operations Trainer/Assessor. Knowledge of competence management systems and major hazard industries.

Responsibilities

• Coach, develop and coordinate the Depot Assessor and training programs.
• Support CMS implementation across sites not yet engaged with the program.
• Identify development opportunities after failed assessments and implement training solutions.
• Measure training effectiveness and communicate progress monthly/quarterly.
• Collaborate with Operations, Asset Technical, Maintenance Engineering, and HR to align competency with business goals.
• Update training materials, operating manuals and SOPs.
