Job summary

The Recruiters Room is recruiting for a Mortgage Arrears Collections Agent working 100% remotely in the UK. The role starts 11 January 2027 and offers £26,250 base salary plus bonus, with all equipment supplied. You will contact customers in mortgage arrears via telephone, providing compliant, empathetic solutions and performing light admin tasks.

Applicants must have B2C debt collections experience and be comfortable in an FCA-regulated setting. Training is fully remote.

Qualifications

• 100% telephone-based debt collections experience (B2C) required.
• Experience working in an FCA-regulated environment.
• Mortgage arrears collections experience is essential.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with customers in mortgage arrears and offer positive solutions.
• Ensure adherence to regulations and legislation during conversations.
• Handle a telephone-based workload with some administrative tasks.
