Job summary

The Recruiters Room is recruiting for a Mortgage Arrears Collections Agent to work 100% remotely (UK only). The role starts 11 January 2027 with a base salary of £26,250 plus bonus and fully supplied equipment. The ideal candidate has B2C debt collections experience and prior FCA-regulated environment exposure.

You will handle mortgage arrears calls, offering compliant solutions while maintaining customer empathy and documentation for regulatory checks.

Qualifications

• 100% Telephone-Based, Debt Collections experience (B2C).
• Experience in FCA regulated environment.
• Mortgage arrears collections background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers in mortgage arrears by telephone to understand their circumstances.
• Provide clear, compliant solutions to bring accounts up to date.
• Adhere to FCA regulations and company policy during all interactions.
• Handle a limited amount of administrative tasks related to cases.
